MANILA, Philippines — The Jordan Brand added a new member to its family.
Kiefer Ravena became the first Filipino athlete to join the sportswear giant, Jordan Brand announced Tuesday.
“I feel like I’ve been welcomed with open arms. I still can’t believe it. I remember speaking to the Brand about it last year. The news has been embraced by a lot of people around me. It’s amazing to be part of this incredible team of athletes,” said Ravena, who stars for the NLEX Road Warriors in the PBA.
“I still can’t believe that I’m part of the Jordan Brand Family. I’m very fortunate to have a great support system. My parents, my friends, my teammates and the fans. In basketball, that’s all you need. Thank you @jumpman23, I’m thankful for the opportunity to be the first Filipino joining the Jumpman Family. #JUMPMAN,” Ravena, a five-time Southeast Asian Games gold medalist, wrote on Instagram.
“Being in the Jordan Brand family motivates me because I know I’m joining something special.”

As the newest Jordan Brand athlete, the 27-year-old guard joined other world-class athletes across several sports including New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson, Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic, two-time World Series champion Mookie Betts, and Kazakhstan’s Gennady Glolovkin, who is one of the top pound-for-pound boxers today.
Williamson, who is the latest Jumpman athlete to be given his own signature line, just released his first signature sneaker, the Zion 1.
The brand also has another Asian basketball star in its roster in China’s Guo Ailun, who has been part of the Jumpman roster since 2017.
